Meet Your Trainer: Logan Beauregard

Hi! I'm Logan! I'm the owner and head trainer of Moonbeam Dog Training. I've been a professional dog trainer in Ottawa since 2017 and I've worked primarily with aggressive, fearful, and reactive dogs since 2021. I am both a certified high school teacher and a certified professional dog trainer.

I consider myself a teacher of the subject of dog - I care about my human learners just as much as I care about my dog learners. I will not shame you for previous approaches and I will not assign you homework that is unrealistic for you to complete.

It's my job to help you understand what's going on for your dog and how to help them handle their astronomical feelings without a complete system shutdown. And if the plan doesn't work, it's my job to find another route and guide you through the turbulence to a safe landing.

Why Train With Moonbeam?

Certified Professional

Did you know that anyone in Ontario can call themselves a dog trainer or dog behaviourist even if they have no formal education in the field? Some have read books, some have taken courses, but there's no test that you are required to pass before you can work with dogs.

At Moonbeam, you get the peace of mind of working with a certified professional dog trainer.

Custom Designed for You

We tailor all of our training plans to your family, your life, your dog, and your goals. If you have any learning needs or accessibility considerations, we go over these in our initial Mission Control meeting. We love working with neurodivergent clients and figuring out how to incorporate training into your busy schedule.

Choose Your Training Journey

For reactive dog guardians, you can choose between the Do-It-Yourself Reactivity Roadmap Video Course, the Do-It-With-You Supersonic Private Training Program, or the Done-For-You Rocketship Day School Program.

Field Trips

We run members-only field trips for our clients every two weeks during the summer months. Our Rainbow bandana system allows us to run this group class for dogs with big feelings in real-life settings.

Ready to expand you & your dog's world?

What kind of big feelings does your dog have?

My dog barks, lunges, stares, or freezes. I don't think they're friendly or I don't know.

My dog cowers, shakes, hides, or tries to escape.

My dog jumps, barks, lies down, or tries to mouth - but they're friendly!

Moonbeam Dog Training acknowledges that we live and work with dog guardians and families on the traditional unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Anishinàbe Algonquin People.

We are committed to an anti-racist, decolonial, and accessible future for generations to come.
